A tiny bird with a big heart
Ungainly, unlucky, and unloveable. If asked to describe themself in 2024, that would have been Redd's answer. The lanky albatross desperately sought love, and found themself rebuked at every turn. Their impressive "Burden" got plenty of furs in bed, but those one-night stands never turned to dates. They couldn't even keep a tabletop campaign together.
The Bolycule changed everything.
Redd found a partner. Then he found a few more. Soon enough he was spending more time with them than in his own empty apartment.
In late 2025, Redd realized he wanted to be tiny. Not just sometimes, not even often. All the time. It was more than kink to him—being small made him feel safe, secure, cared for. It was a lot of fun, too!
With some help from Tiko, and a lot more from Hugo, Redd's wish was granted. Their height still varies from day to day—courtesy of the magic leg band Hugo installed—but something it never does is exceed twelve inches. Redd's old size is only available to them in emergencies, locked behind a unanimous group vote. They don't miss it. Redd has never been happier with themself than they are at four inches tall.
Life as a micro is different and novel. Redd lives in a drawer. He wears doll's clothes. He climbs up ladders made of string to reach the top of tables, and glides down on wings he learned could actually fly once he shed his size.
However, in some ways life is still the same. Redd still runs weekly games of Fate, with her new group still going strong months in. She still cries when reading cheesy romance stories, or when watching a good musical. And she still has a good time with her partners several days a week... though at her size, they're often the ones in charge of what happens and when, and she's simply along for the ride.
She likes that part of being small, too.
Redd is clumsy. He's unlucky. If you asked any of his partners for an adjective, "goofy" might come to mind. The tiny albatross is prone to loquacious soliloquies and suave, florid flirtation; a performance which collapses under its own weight the second someone reminds Redd of the physical realities of his size. His theater kid energy is undisputable even as he closes in on thirty. There's no one quite like him, and yet in the Bolycule, he fits right in.
An albatross with alabaster feathers and charcoal-grey flights. Their beak and legs are a very pale pink, and the top of their head is light grey. Their proportions are overall lanky, with wingarms that are extremely long relative to their body. They have a short fanned tail. Their beak is long and slender. Their left ankle is encircled by a bright red leg band.
