Hugo sits unassailable atop the pyramid of polycule power. With a tendency to think well in advance, and an unbeatable grip that gives him total control over spells cast by both himself and others, Hugo comes out on top in any possible situation.

And everyone likes it that way.

The spider has a way of reading people. He seems to know what you want, sometimes before you even know it yourself. And with his strong personality and seeming immunity to shame, he has no difficulty facilitating those desires.

The sole exception is when he's expected to submit. Hugo craves control. Needs it. He can count the number of times he's willingly surrendered the scene to someone else on one hand, and he only has three fingers! Hugo is a pureblooded dom. He'll top and he'll bottom, but he always holds the leash.

Hugo's skill with magic is nearly unparalleled. His formal, university-level study enables him to meticulously design elaborate spells from scratch. Though his casting may seem spontaneous, Hugo actually commits detailed spells to memory, and continuously calculates new ones in his spare time, sometimes with little more than graph paper and a calculator.

Hugo's reason for pursuing the study of magic was a powerful distaste for his body. After years of feeling like a hostage in his own life, only having the power to reshape himself from the ground up would do. Rejecting every inch of the sexually dimorphic body of his birth, Hugo built the exact form he wanted... though it took Tiko—a mage with an outsider's view on what is possible—to make his chosen body truly permanent.

Hugo invited himself into Bol's life with characteristic confidence and swagger, but as always, the raptor was the one to keep him there. Less than a month after meeting them for the first time, Hugo closed his lease and moved in. It took Tiko longest of all to warm up to the spider, but now she can't imagine life without him there.

A six-armed and two-legged spider. His body is covered in jet black setae with fuzzy white ruffs around joints and his thorax. His mouth is flanked by chelicerae, which can cover it entirely. He has two primary pairs of eyes, both of which are a reflective bluish-green. His hands each have two fingers and a thumb, and his footpaws have only two claws each. His abdomen is sizeable, and features black and white patterns.
