Easygoing, chipper, and cheerful, Murali always keeps the mood high, and is willing to roll with almost any punch. He gives pet names easily, and loves to engage in lighthearted teasing, though his jovial intent is never in doubt. His adventurousness outruns his actual tastes, and he's willing to do a lot if his partners are into it... though he'll often develop new tastes in the process!

Murali works as a freelance visual artist, and spends his spare time engaging with other hobbyist creative pursuits. He was able to hold down a studio apartment for several years, during which time he and his partners both commuted to occasionally spend time together, but in early 2026 he moved in with Solenne to save on rent.

Murali medically transitioned starting in his late teens, with support from his family. He opted for top surgery but not bottom surgery, and still enthusiastically makes use of his unchanged anatomy without experiencing dysphoria. To hear him tell it, going from the drab feathers of a hen to the vibrant plumage of a cock was a transformative experience, and turned him from a reserved and anxious introvert into the energetic extrovert he is today.

Murali was the first member of the Bolycule to be brought in by Tiko rather than Bol, and initially dated her exclusively. However, Murali has always been on great terms with all of his metamours, and has been expanding his circle of partners steadily ever since.

A peacock with an athletic build. His feathers are predominantly cobalt, but give way to orange at his legs and shoulders, and tan patterns on the flights of his wingarms. His beak and skin are pale grey. Patterns of exposed white skin wing his eyes, and a bob of feathers projects from the back of his head. He has a long train of emerald feathers with iridescent eye-spots. Top surgery scars are just barely visble beneath the countour feathers of his chest.
